A Message from United States Senator John D. Rockefeller IV

The agony of watching a loved one being slowly ravaged by Alzheimer’s disease was for me, and my family, a life-changing experience.

Determined to someday spare others from this degrading disease, we established the Blanchette Rockefeller Neurosciences Institute. Its unique mission: to accelerate neurological discoveries from the lab to patients as quickly as possible.

But there is much work to be done. These diseases make no distinction between gender, race or economic status. It will take every one of us, contributing in any way we can, to find a cure.

With your help, this Institute will put an end to neurological diseases. I am proud to lend my mother’s name to this vital purpose and to honor her memory in this way.
