Ph.D (2009) University of Calcutta, Calcutta, India
M.Sc (2002) University of Calcutta, Calcutta, India
Research Interests:
Dr. Sen’s research is to study the mechanism of PKC activation in respect to activators of PKC (bryostatin) and its role in Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, he works in collaboration with Dr. Nelson in his search for discovery of additional PKC activators. This study has immense clinical importance, as to date there is no treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. The PKC inducing molecules study has immense importance and probability for future drug discovery potential.
Areas of Expertise:
Molecular biology and Biochemistry
